About Mrs. de Castro

 

Liliana de Castro was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She graduated from the Externado University in Colombia with a B.S. in Finance, Government, and International Relations. Additionally, she is a certified catechist in the Catechism of the Good Shepherd. Since 2022, she has been a general music teacher and children’s choir director at Our Lady of Hope in Potomac Falls, VA.

Her family moved to Northern Virginia from Miami in 2008. She also has over 10 years' worth of music experience and formation stemming from her youth. When she was younger, Mrs. de Castro was in a professional children’s choir for 10 years. Singing is her passion!

Since moving to Northern Virginia, Leesburg has been home to her husband, her six kids, her grandson, her dog Paco, and her. She has been an active parishioner at St. John the Apostle in Leesburg, VA, serving as a catechist, cantor, choir member, ministry leader, and preschool teacher.
