About Mrs. Bruton

Theresa holds a degree in Elementary Education from the Univ. of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and lives in Lovettsville, VA with her husband and children. She homeschooled her children for many years, co-founded The Joyful Child Atrium in Purcellville, and is now both a Catechist and Director of the Atrium.

Theresa has been teaching upper elementary at Good Shepherd School for nine years and is now our Fifth Grade teacher.

About Good Shepherd School, Theresa says, “Truly, this is the best of both worlds; home and school. The small class sizes, the individual attention given to the students, the group discussions, the workings of the classroom community, recess with friends, children helping and teaching each other, the flexibility to dig deeper into a subject when the students want more…it’s fabulous.
